| In May of 2007 we received a special request from a first grade student located in Central Illinois. Chloe sent us a flatter version of herself (based on the book Flat Stanley by Jeff Brown) and asked us to take her with us on one of our adventures. We were more than happy to cooperate and what follows here are pages from her journal. We would be thrilled to receive more "flat" visitors and their life-size, 3-dimensional counterparts for either virtual or real visits to learn about the marvelous diversity of Costa Rica's ecosystems and the wonderful plants and animals they contain.
